Welcome to Golden Sands

We are dedicated to promoting maximum independence, choice, and dignity for each resident. This is your home, and our team members reflect the rich and diverse culture of the community of Lac La Biche, speaking various languages in addition to English.

Located in southeast Lac La Biche, AB, in the heart of Lakeland

Surrounded by beautiful lakes and nestled in the Northern Boreal Forest of Alberta, our new and modern residence opened in June 2018 and provides vibrant community living options for seniors with Memory Care, Supportive Living, and Independent Living.

Our two-storey H-shaped building is designed in a cottage motif. Individual suites are connected to cottage kitchens, each with its cozy common room. We are accredited through the Alberta Senior Citizens Housing Association (ASCHA).
