Golden Sands is located in southeast Lac La Biche, Alberta, near the Bold Recreation Center. Golden Sands is in the heart of Lakeland, surrounded by beautiful lakes and nestled in the Northern Boreal Forest of Alberta. Our new and modern residence opened in June 2018 and provides vibrant community living options for Memory Care, Supportive Living, and Independent Living seniors.

Golden Sands is dedicated to promoting maximum independence, choice, and dignity for each resident and encourages the involvement of family, neighbours, and friends. We are accredited through Alberta Senior Citizens Housing Associations (ASCHA).
This is your home, and our team members reflect the rich and diverse culture of the community of Lac La Biche. Our team speaks various languages in addition to English, including French, Cree, Filipino, Arabic, Russian, and the Southeast Asian languages of Malayalam and Tamil.
